The Literary Evening dedicated to Babyn Yar tragedy and opening of the exhibition "Remembrance for the Future ".

April 11, 2014 on the International Day of Liberation of Nazi Concentration Camp Inmates at the premises of the Central City Library for Children named after Taras Shevchenko ( Victory Avenue , № 25 ) a Literary Evening dedicated to the Babyn Yar tragedy embodied in the poetical works of artists of war and postwar era and contemporary poets and the opening of the exhibition " Remembrance for the Future " held. These events was organized by Central City Library for children and the National Historic-Memorial Reserve " Babyn Yar."

April 11, 2014 at 13.30 at the auditorium of the Kiev school № 229 the literary and artistic event " The Displaying of Babyn Yar tragedy in the works of classics of Ukrainian poetry " was held by employees of National Historic-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" together with collective of Oleksandr Dovzhenko library and pupils of 8th grade of school number 229 .

Honoring the Memory of the Pinsk Flotilla sailors who died in the defense of Kyiv and the Nazi occupation of Kyiv in 1941-1943.

February 24, 2014 stuff of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" together with members of the Kyiv public organization „Association of Navy Intelligence Veterans” paid tribute to Pinsk Flotilla sailors who died in the defense of Kyiv and the Nazi occupation of Kyiv in 1941-1943. The flowers were laid at the monument to 27 POW sailors killed in Syretsk POW camp and the monument to the Dnieper flotilla sailors who sacrificed their lives in the battle for defense of Kyiv .
