March 16, at the building of the National Historical Memorial Reserve ‘’Babyn Yar’’ was opened an exhibition - "Humanity in times of cruelty."
Among Ukrainian and other nationalities were thousands of people who risked and sacrificed themselves and their families, saved from destruction and hid Jews. Some of these people are now Righteous of nations of the world. At the beginning of 2014 year this title was awarded to 25,271 righteous in 48 countries, including 2472 righteous in Ukraine.

We used to think that Babyn Yar in Kiev - is the place of tragedy of the Jewish people, and only few people remember that they witnessed the last moments of life more than a thousand of Ukrainian patriots.

February 6, 2015 at the Central Library, named after T.G. Shevchenko for children within hours of reflection "by the tragic pages of the Holocaust",was hold the metting with high school students and teachers of lyceum № 142, town Kyiv.
Representatives of the National Historical Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" Irina Myzak and Mykhailo Gutor told the audience about the persecution and extermination of Jews by the Nazi regime and showed them documentary materials from the Reserve Funds.
