They will never become adults...” an exhibition dedicated to the Memory of the Children who were shot at Babyn Yar.
On the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, 2014 on the premises of the Taras Shevchenko Central Municipal Children's Library (Prospect Peremohy, No. 25) an exhibition was opened called:
“They will never become adults...” an Exhibition Dedicated to the Memory of the Children who were shot at Babyn Yar.
The organizers of the exhibition were the National Historical Memorial Reserve “Babyn Yar”, the Jewish Council of Ukraine and the “Memory of Babyn Yar” Foundation and the Taras Shevchenko Central Municipal Children's Library.
Presentations were made by the head of the department serving pupils of the 5-10 grades of the Library Salomeya Samvelivna Yengibaryan and the Director of the National Historical Memorial Reserve “Babyn Yar” B.I. Glazunov.
The participants honored the memory of the Holocaust victims with a minute of silence.
The exhibition is being held from January 27 through February 7, 2014.
