January 24 2012 at the premises of the Supreme Council of Ukraine ( Sadova st. 3-A) the roundtable discussion on „ Lessons of the Holocaust and cultural traditions of remembrance in Ukraine, current problems and ways to overcome them” was held.
On March 29th 2012 the working meeting of employees of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve „Babyn Yar” ( Basin st. 1 /2a) and the condominium Board of the apartment building № 25, O. Teligy st. , held.
The issue about construction of a condominium at O. Teligy st., №25 ( supposed location shooting civilians ) was discussed. The purpose of meeting was to ask KCSA to forbid the construction.
On January 27 2012, the International Holocaust victims Remembrance Day, a ceremony commemorating the victims of Holocaust took place at the NHMR „ Babyn Yar”.
The delegates of government, public organizations, Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine Reuven Din Yale and representatives German embassy in Ukraine had attended the traditional rally and laying flowers to the monument „ Menorah” .
Flowers-Laying ceremony at National Historical Memorial Reserve “Babyn Yar” took place on October 3, 2011 within state and public actions dedicated to the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy.
On October 2nd, 2011 in honor of the 70th anniversary of the tragedy of Babyn Yar the documentary exhibition of the archival institutions of Ukraine and Russia took place at the Central State Archive-Museum of Literature and Arts of Ukraine.
The exhibition was held from October 2 to October 5, 2011 at the territory of National Historical Memorial Reserve “Babyn Yar”.
The exhibition included archival documents from the Central State Archive of higher authorities of Ukraine.
Individual exposition was devoted to children, who were put to death in Babyn Yar. These materials were given by Babi Yar Memorial Fund.
The exhibition has been organized by the officials of National Historical Memorial Reserve “Babyn Yar”.
The booklet contains the information about the tragic events that occurred in the Babyn Yar ravine during the years of the occupation of Kyiv in 1941-1943 and in the postwar years,
a brief historical reference about establishment at the territory of ravine the National Historical Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar".
Besides, booklet includes information about all the monuments that immortalize the tragic events of the past, which are situated on the territory of the Reserve and outside.
Conference “Common Heritage: Understanding of Holocaust in Ukraine” held on September 21, 2011 in Sofia-Hall of Premier Palace Hotel in Kyiv. The key question of conference was international efforts in the spheres of education, research and protection of mass graves.

The ceremony of laying flowers at the Monument to the outstanding member of Kyiv underground organization, Hero of Ukraine Tetyana Marcus held on September, 21, 2011 in National Historical Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar".
Exhibition was opened on September 20, 2001 in the National Museum of Literature in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy.
