Exhibition was opened on September 20, 2001 in the National Museum of Literature in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy.
Exposition, prepared on the base of Ilya Levitas’s materials, was devoted to the children executed in Babyn Yar. The ceremony has been attended by Deputy Minister of Culture T. Kokhan, Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration L. Novohatko, President of Council of Ethnic Communities of Ukraine, President of Jewish Council in Ukraine, Head of Babi Yar Memorial Fund I.Levitas, Director of National Historical Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" B.Glazunov, stage-director of the film "Babyn Yar", National Artist of the USSR M. Zaseiev-Rudenko M, Rector of R. Hlier Kyiv Music Institute,National Artist of Ukraine O. Zlotnyk, representatives of media.
