Funeral procession „On the Path of the Death”.

September 30, 2012 on the initiative of the Jewish Council of Ukraine , the Fund „ Remembrance of Babyn Yar”, the National Historic-Memorial Reserve „ Babyn Yar” on the occasion of the 71th anniversary of the tragedy at Babyn Yar the funeral march „ On the Path of the Death” to the monument „ Menorah ” , laying flowers, memorial prayer and mourning rally was held.

The International Day of the Nazi concentration camps prisoners release is the anniversary which is celebrated every year on April 11 by the initiative of the United Nations.
On April 11 2012 at 09:00 to celebrate the International Day of release the prisoners of Nazi concentration camps the solemn ceremony of laying flowers to memorial to Soviet citizens and war prisoners executed by Nazis at Babyn Yar had held.

On August 2, 2012 at 10:00 am , on International Day of Roma Holocaust, laying flowers to memorial stone to Roma who were shot in Babyn Yar was held at the National Historic-Memorial Reserve „Babyn Yar”.

The event was attended by representatives of Roma organizatios, management and scientific staff of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve „Babyn Yar”, Ph. D. in History Andrew Kotlyarchuk ( explorer the project „Roma Genocide in Ukraine, 1941-1944 ” at the School of gender and historical research of the University Sodertorn ).

General Directorate of Urban Planning, Architecture and Urban Environment Design had reviewed and approved the concept of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve „Babyn Yar”.

On April 11, 2012 General Directorate of Urban Planning, Architecture and Urban Environment Design had reviewed and approved the concept of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve „Babyn Yar”, designed by creative architectural workshop „L.Skoryk” ( Director Larissa Skoryk).

The outdoor conference about construction the monument to Olena Teliha and companions in arms of hers at the National Historic-Memorial Reserve “Babyn Yar”.

On June 25, 2012 the outdoor conference about construction the monument to poetess Olena Teliha and allies of hers at the National Historic-Memorial Reserve „ Babyn Yar “ took place. The conference was held at the supposed location establishing monument in Babyn Yar. The main issues concerning the establishing monument, appointing the artists and the responsible persons for the process of manufacturing and installation the monument were discussed.

April 5, 2012 at 14:00 am at the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve ( Kyiv, Lavrah st.,9, block №20, 2nd floor) at the Department of Cultural Heritage and cultural values extended meeting of the Scientifical and Methodological Counsil Presidium on protectjon of Cultural Heritage of the Ukraine Culture Ministry

On January 27 the Evening-requiem to commemorate the Holocaust victims was held.

On January 27, the Internationale Day for Remembrance of the Holocaust victims at the Jewish Council of Ukraine ( Kyiv, Nimanska st., 7) the Evening-requiem to commemorate the Holocaust victims was held .

The meeting was conducted by President of the Board of National Sosieties of Ukraine, President of the Jewish Counsil of Ukraine, head of Fund of Babyn Yar Memorial Fund Levitas I.M. On the Memory evening it was attended about 70 representatives of NGOs, government bodies, scientists.

70 years since Olena Teliha execution.

On February 21 at the National Historic-Memorial Reserve „Babyn Yar” on the occasion of the 70th anniversary Olena Teliha and allies of hers execution the meeting, which was attended by the Ukrainian Women’s Association named after O. Teliha, the Foundation named after Oleg Olzych,

pupils specialized school №97 named after Olena Teliha, staff of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve „Babyn Yar”, representatives of archives, educational and research institutions was held.
