On September, 5, 2011 leaders of Ministry of Culture of Ukraine met with government delegationof Israel in Kyiv.

Ukrainian party was represented by Deputy Minister of Culture T. Kokhan, Deputy Head of International affairs Office K. Yehorova, President of Council of Ethnic Communities of Ukraine, President of Jewish Council in Ukraine, Head of Babi Yar Memorial Fund I.Levitas.

On August 12, 2011 a public discussions were held, concerning the creation of Alley of the Righteous.

The meeting was attended by representatives of public organizations: 

Levitas I. M. - President of the National Societies of Ukraine, President of the Jewish Council of Ukraine, Head of Babyn Yar Memorial Fund;

Glazunov B. I. - the National Historical Memorial Preserve "Babyn Yar";

Soldatenko V. F.- Director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance;

Laying of flowers by the stuff of the National Historical Memorial Preserve "Babyn Yar"

On June 22, 2011 in the Day of mourning and remembrance of the victims of war and the 70-th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War in the National Historical Memorial Preserve "Babyn Yar" the perished at war were honored and flowers were laid to the monument to the victims of Babyn Yar.

On June 9 in the Cabinet of Ministers there was a meeting of the Organizing Committee of preparation and holding of events in honor of the 70-th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy. The participants considered the draft Action Plan dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy and made suggestions for the working group to prepare for these events.

On Fulfilling the contract of cooperation between the Babyn Yar Memorial Fund and the National Historical Memorial Preserve "Babyn Yar", leaders of these organizations Levytas I. M. and Glazunov B. I. discussed a number of issues connected with preparation to the 70-th anniversary of Babyn Yar tragedy.

There was solved the issue of transferring of the memories of Righteous, saved and eyewitnesses of the tragedy recorded once on cassettes according to the program of Spielberg Foundation into the discs. There are more than 250 of such tapes in the fund.
