On June 21, 2016, to the Day of Sorrow and the Remembrance of the Victims of the War in Ukraine at 14:30 in the premises of the Pechersk District State Administration in Kyiv, the opening of the exhibition "We never became adults" (Children shot at Babyn Yar) was held.
The opening ceremony was attended by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine Eliave Belotserkovsky, Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Rostislav Karandev , Head of the Pechersk District State Administration in Kyiv Martynchuk SO, President of the All-Ukrainian Jewish Council, Director of Historical- Memorial Museum "Heroism and the Holocaust" Olexander Suslensky, Vice-President of the All-Ukrainian "Jewish Council", Editor-in-Chief of the "Jewish News" newspaper Semen Belman, Chairman of the Association of the Righteous Among the Nations Sophia Yarova, Deputy Director of the National Historical Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" Ihor Lytvyn, NGO representatives, media representatives and others.
