On the occasion of International Roma Day, employees of the National Historical Memorial Reserve “Babyn Yar” took part in a Round Table held at the Secretariat of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. It was attended by the management and representatives of the Office of the Ombudsman, Ukrainian state institutions, and international and public organizations. During the Round Table, the participants discussed the observance of Roma rights in Ukrainian society and the Roma strategy's implementation. Separately, they raised the issue of the situation of Roma immigrants during the war and the genocide of the Roma people during the Second World War.
