On August 27, 2019, the Holocaust victims were commemorated on at the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar". The event was attended by representatives of the Jewish religious community. For hours, songs and commemorative Hebrew prayers were heard from a scene mounted near the Menorah memorial sign.
