January 27, 2013 in the UN premises ( Klovsky Descent, 1) the Photography Exhibition "The Righteous of Ukraine and Babyn Yar" unveiled on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day .
The exhibit co-organized by the National Historic- Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar", the Jewish Council of Ukraine and the Foundation "Remembrance of the Babyn Yar"
International Holocaust Remembrance Day was designated by the Unated Nations General Assembly resolution 60/7 on 1 November 2005 . This commemorative date is celebrated annually - 27 January. On this day in 1945 the Soviet Army liberated the prisoners of the largest Nazi death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau near Oswiecim.
