On September 13, 2016, a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and conduct of events in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Babiy Yar tragedy took place on the territory of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar".

The participants of the meeting inspected the results of the work on the improvement of the territory and repair and restoration works on the monuments of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" and discussed the following issues:
- preparation for the 75th anniversary of Babyn Yar tragedy and a program of mournful events;
- media coverage of mournful events in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy, the creation of a relevant documentary, social advertising on commemorating the victims of the Babyn Yar tragedy, the publication and reprinting of thematic materials on the commemoration of memory victims of Babi Yar in several foreign languages;
- ensuring the protection of public order and road safety in the venues of September 29, 2016, in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy;
- the concept of renovation the building of the office of the former Jewish cemetery's on the street. Melnikova Str., 44 for the Memorial Museum of victims of Babyn Yar and plan of development of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar"
