On October 5, 2021, about five hundred Kyiv cadets and young ladies - pupils of the sixth and eleventh grades of the boarding lyceum № 23 in Kyiv honoured the memory of the victims of Babyn Yar. An honorary ritual with the laying of flowers and lighting lamps was held near the monument to citizens and prisoners of war shot in Babyn Yar. Teachers and parents of young citizens were present during the commemoration. The event was attended by Tatiana Bolgarska, who personally knew the Glagolev family, recognized as the Righteous Among the Nations for hiding Jewish families from the Nazis.
Also on this day, senior researcher Volodymyr Kornelyuk conducted an excursion on "Babyn Yar: History, Tragedy, Memory" for teachers and sixth-graders of the Kyiv school № 28.
