January 24 this year at the Central City Сhildren’s Library named after T. Shevchenko (Peremogy Avenue, № 25) the exhibition titled "Tragic Pages of Holocaust and Babyn Yar" dedicated to the International Day of Holocaust Remembrance began to be unveiled .
The exhibition was prepared and organized by the National Historic- Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" in conjunction with the Directorate of the Kiev Lyceum number 142. The exhibition opening was attended by students of the 10th classes of the Lyceum and officials of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve "Babi Yar."
Unveiling of the exhibition began with a lecture on the Holocaust and the Babyn Yar tragedy, read the Scientific Secretary of the Reserve H.I. Linnik and a movie about Yad Vashem Museum and its activities on honoring the Holocaust victims and keeping their memory.
The short speeches were given by Deputy Director of the Lyceum Voznyuk L.B. and the students of the Lyceum.
The exhibition will run from 24 January to 06 February this year.
