The International Roma Holocaust Remembrance Day is a memorable date established by the proclamation of the International Council for the Remembrance of the Roma Genocide, adopted on November 23, 1996 by the leaders of the Roma organizations in 10 European countries and the United States of America at the conference "Genocide - Memory - Hope" which took place in Auschwitz on November 21 - 23, 1996. It is celebrated annually on August 2.
On August 2, 2016, in the territory of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar", the collective of the Reserve laid flowers at the memorial sign to Roma who were executed in Babyn Yar.
Міжнародний день голокосту ромів — пам'ятна дата, встановлена Прокламацією Міжнародної ради пам'яті геноциду ромів, яка була ухвалена 23 листопада 1996 р. лідерами ромських організацій 10 країн Європи та Сполучених Штатів Америки на конференції «Геноцид — Пам'ять — Надія», що відбулася в Освенцимі 21 — 23 листопада 1996 р. Відзначається щорічно — 2 серпня.
2 серпня 2016 року на території Національного історико-меморіального заповідника "Бабин Яр" коллективом Заповідника відбулося покладання квітів до пам'ятного знаку розстріляним у Бабиному Яру ромам.
