On March 23, 2018, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Diane and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France and Ukraine visited the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar".
The foreign guests at the Preserve General Director of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" B.I. Glazunov.
The minister got acquainted with the history of the Babyn Yar tract and the tragic events that took place on the territory of this tract during the Nazi occupation of Kyiv in 1941-1943.
Jean-Yves Le Diane and the supporters of the Minister paid tribute to the innocent victims, who were forever captured on the bloody pages of the history of the WWII and the Holocaust by a moment of silence and the laying of flowers to the memorial sign of the Menorah.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Diane and Director-General of the Reserve B. Glazunov exchanged gift souvenirs.
