April 24, 2014 the exhibition called "Remembrance for the Future" dedicated to the memory of prisoners of Nazi concentration camps was opened at the library of the Olexander Dovzhenko ( Zahidna st. , 11).
The exhibition was prepared and organized by team of National Historic-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar ."
Exhibits highlight the terrible crimes against humanity committed by the Nazis in concentration camps they set up in Germany, the occupied Europe and the former Soviet Union including Ukraine .
Time passes inexorable . Former prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos , witnesses of crimes occupants pass away.
In those days when the world community is celebrating the Victory over fascism , we will remember again what a terrible price humanity has paid for the peaceful sky for their descendants.
The exhibition runs from April 24 till May 31 2014.
