23 January 2013 at the National Museum of Ukrainian Literature (B.Khmelnitsky st., 11) the exhibition titled "The Holocaust and Heroism" was unveiled on the occusion of the International Holocaust. Remembrance Day.
The organization and execution of the exhibition was made by the National Historic-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" in conjunction with the Jewish Council of Ukraine.
With short speeches at the opening ceremony were:
Soroka A.A. - General Director of the National Museum of Ukrainian Literature,
Kohan GT - Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine,
Levitas I.M. - President of the Jewish Council of Ukraine, President of the Council of National Communities of Ukraine and Head of the Babyn Yar Memorial Fund
Itzhak C. K. - Deputy Ambassador at Israeli Embassy.
Skorik L.P. - Member of the Public Humanities Council at the President of Ukraine, professor of architectural design of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, a member of the Academy of Arts of Ukraine, author of the memorial complex to the victims of Babyn Yar.
Faitelson J. - Chairman of the representatiоn Jewish Agency "JAFI-Ukraine"
Zabarko B.M. - Chairman of the Association of Underage prisoners of Ghettos and Concentrations Camps.
Glazunov B.I. - Director of the National Historic- Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar."
The exhibition will run from 23 January to 16 February.
