On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy, on September 29, 2019, at 10:00 am, the commemoration of the Babyn Yar victims was held at the territory of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar". The ceremony was attended by the director of the department of culture of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council Popova D.O., the first deputy director of the department - the head of the department of culture and arts of the department of culture of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council Anzhiak S.M., the deputy director of the department of culture - the head of the department for affairs nationalities and religions Motsyuk V.V., Director General of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" Glazunov B.I., Chairman of the Assembly of Nationalities of Ukraine Tagiyev R.G., employees of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar", media representatives, public organizations, students of Kyiv schools. Those present paid tribute to the innocently murdered people by the moment of silence and laying of flowers.
