The Roma Genocide Remembrance Day.

International Day of the Roma Genocide Remembrance is the Date established by Proclamation of the International Council of the Memory of the Roma genocide, adopted on November 23, 1996 by 10 leaders of Roma organizations in Europe and the United States at the conference "Genocide - Memory - Hope" that was held in Auschwitz on 21 - 23 November 1996. It is celebrated annually on August 2.
August 2, 2015 at 15.00 at the memorial sign to shot in Babyn Yar Roma the flowers-laying ceremony was held in the National Historic-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar".
The event was attended by representatives of Roma organizations of Kyiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, senior researcher of the Institute of Archeographic of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Natalia Zinevych, journalist of Information Center of Human Rights Mykola Myrny, researchers of the National Historic-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar."
Those present honored the memory of innocent Roma victims by minute of silence
