September 25, 2019, at the Library named after V. Dubinin for children it was held Evening-Requiem "Babyn Yar - the memory remains alive".
The event was attended by students of grade 9-A of school No. 199. The lecture was delivered by Andrii Tkachuk, Deputy Director-General for Science of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar". Participants reviewed the books on the theme "The tragedy of the Babyn Yar" presented by librarian T. Miroshnichenko.
Andrii Tkachuk told the students about those times, introduced them to publications, photographs, articles, and together with the students paid tribute to the child victims of Babyn Yar, and laid flowers at the monument.
