On February 25, 2016, a memorial ceremony was held at the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" and the laying of flowers for the "Monument to the Soviet Citizens and POWs Soldiers and Officers of the Soviet Army shot by the German Nazis in Babyn Yar" and memorial sign "Menorah".
The ceremony was attended by Israeli Minister of Justice Eileat Shaked, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine Eliav Belotserkovsky, Deputy Ambassador of the State of Israel in Ukraine Gennadiy Polishchuk, acting Director of the National Historical-Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" Boris Glazunov, representatives of mass media and the public and others.
