On August 3, 2016, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Culture of Ukraine, Yevgen Nishuk, a meeting on the state of implementation of the tasks set out in the plan of measures in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy was held.

During the survey of the objects of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" it was decided:
- To work out the questions concerning the land use land placement by the land plot at Kyiv, Melnikova st., 44;
- To work out the issue of creating a Memorial Museum in memory of the victims of the Babyn Yar tragedy in the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar", providing for the necessary repair and restoration works on the street. Melnikova, 44, and the arranging of the territory adjacent to it, starting from August of the current year;
-To take urgent measures to ensure the protection of public order and the preservation of material values at the objects of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" during repairs;
- To provide necessary repair work of non-residential building on the street. Melnikova, 48b, in Kyiv in order to provide proper conditions for the placement and functioning of the security units and staff of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" during the autumn-winter period;
- To work out the issues concerning the arranging of the territory adjacent to the exits from Dorogozhichi metro station, in particular, regarding the ordering of the trading activity of the IAF and spontaneous trade;
- To work out plans for ensuring public order and road safety in accordance with the plan of events in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Babiy Yar tragedy in the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar";
- To work out the questions on organizing the meeting of foreign guests and delegations invited to participate in the September 2016 events in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Babiy Yar tragedy, ensuring their stay (accommodation, food, transport and security) in the city of Kiev, to determine the need for transportation and other services, the procedure for their provision, responsible authorities and public organizations, with the support of guests and delegations, volumes and sources of funding for these purposes;
- To create an interdepartmental working group for coordinating the organization of the meeting of foreign guests and delegations;
- To work out the necessary plans for providing information to foreign guests invited to participate in the events in connection with the 75th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy.
