On September 27, 2013 at the National Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 there was a presentation of the documentary publication of Ilya M. Levitas entitled “Babyn Yar. Tragedy. The book was published by the National Historical Memorial Reserve “Babyn Yar”. During the discussion regarding the research the following individuals participated: the President of the Jewish Council of Ukraine, and Chairman of the Babyn Yar Memorial Foundation Ilya M. Levitas, the righteous I.M. Yevhen'yeva, who saved R. Maystrenko from execution, the Director of the National Historical Memorial Preserve "Babi Yar" B.I.Hlazunov scholars of Babyn Yar and witnesses of those terrible events, of 1941 – the mass extermination of Jews at Babyn Yar during the Nazi occupation of Kyiv, 1941-1945.
