The history

On April 11 1945 Buchenvald prisoners began an international uprising against the Nazis and were liberated on that day . It seems so long ago it was. But not for those , who went through the horrors of the Nazi torture chambers. Biographies of these people are real lessons of courage for the young generation.
Whole in Germany and the occupied countries there were operated more than 14 thousand concentration camps. By recognition of SS themselves, the prisoner, whose expected lifetime in camp was less then only year, brought the Nazis nearly fifteen hundred Reichsmark net profit.
During the Second World War through the deth camps were 18 million people, including 5 million citizens of the Soviet Union.
